Artist description

Edo Maajka (real name Edin Osmić) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Croatian rapper and hip-hop text writer.

His first album “Slušaj Mater” came out in 2002 and Edo became the best “newcomer” of that year.

Zagreb-based producers “Blackout” (Dash, Koolade, Shot and later Baby Dooks too) are the creators of all his beats and rhythms, thus making Edo their new name.

With his second album “No Sikiriki”, Edo confirmed his status as one of the best MCs on the Balkans. The third album “Stigo Ćumur” brought him, as the previous ones, man awards and words of praise in the media.

He collaborated with bands like TBF, Hladno Pivo, Pips Chips i Videoclips, Diyala, Frenkie, Letu Štuke, Skroz, Defence, Sinestet, Dado Topić, Studio Morris, Davor Erceg, the Books of knjige, Bolesna Braća, Nered, Stoka, General Woo, Elemental, El Bahattee and many others.

His songs talk about social injustice, love, hate, war, nationalism, people in general, hip hop and graffiti through storytelling, represent and open battle.
