Josipa je najbolja. Slijedim je od moje mladosti, a imam 73. godine. Još se sjećam kada je sa sastavom Zlatni akordi pjevala u Studenskom centru. Najbolja je. -

3. Put sam na koncertu Josipe. Sada sam bio na tribini, slobodno sjedenje. Mislim da je greška bila u odluci da je slobodno, jer su se ljudi široko sjeli ( kaputi pored njih ) i bilo je teško naći slobodno mjesto. Na mjestu gdje smo mi bili, na sredini pozornice, ali na vrhu tribine, zvuk nije bio adekvatan. Tihi bubnjevi, i tihi glas Josipe. Nakon Čuj grupe, zvuk bubnjeva se pojačao, ali mislim da zvuk u takvom prostoru može biti bolji. -

Izvrsni glazbenici u pratećem bendu S obzirom na godine Josipa sasvim dobro odradila koncert Dojam da je zvuk bio malo čudan i slabije se čuo vokal pjevačice. Scena i rasvjeta izvrsni. Velik broj posjetitelja nedorasao ovakvom koncertu zbog stalnog pričanja i kretanja po dvorani. -

Josipa je došla nabrijana i raspoložena. Pošto je prvi put slušam uživo možda bi htio čuti pjesme bliže originalnim izvedbama. Ali ona sama kaže da je joj to njoj dosadno :) Bend je stvarno vrhunski i lijepo se nadopunjavaju. Vizualni podražaj minimalistički ugodan. Ocjena nije 5 iz sljedećih razloga: učinilo mi se da ljudi previše pričaju za vrijeme tiših dionica što ometa uživanje u koncertu i muzici. Možda je to efekt same dvorane, nisam siguran. Majstor na rasvjeti je bio naporan s reflektorima koji su svijetlili u publiku očekujući njihov pljesak. To bi trebalo biti nešto spontano ne da to netko umjetno izaziva. -

Josipa kao živuća legenda hrvatske glazbene scene uvijek iznova potvrđuje svoj status. Tako je bilo i ove večeri u Domu sportova. Većina pjesama bila je uz pomoć sjajnog benda zaogrnuta u novo ruho i svi smo mogli uživati u tim novim iščitavanjima klasika Josipinog bogatog repertoara. Prigovor ide ton mjastoru, budući da je gotovo cijeli koncert Jospinin glas bio pretih u odnosu na glazbu, a bio je pretih i u trenucima kad bi nam se obraćala svojim uvijek duhovitim crticama između pjesama. Nadamo se da će se za neke nove koncerte to korigirati kako bismo se u punom obujmu mogli prepustiti Josipinim bravurama. -

Prvi put sam bila na koncertu Josipe Lisac iako baš i ne slušam njene pjesme, ali nakom ovog koncerta ću početi. Svaka čast njenom bendu, platila bih opet da slušam samo njih. I Josipi svaka čast na vrhunskol odrađenom koncertu i na novi način iznesenim pjesmama. -

Artist description
Josipa Lisac is a Croatian singer and one of the biggest representatives of Croatian musical art. She is known for her original mixture of various musical genres, her unique and eccentric scene appearance and her distinguished vocal capacities.
Already at her first appearance in public she provoked a true sensation in the audience: her singing sublimes all that is best from diverse musical genres, and already her first festival performance announces a coming of an extraordinary singing personality.
Josipa Lisac soon becomes a unique and unrepeatable star of rock music. By developing and going stubbornly against all the conventional streams, she develops her unique style of musical expression.
Her acquaintance, friendship and love relationship with the popular rock’n’roll singer and composer, Karlo Metikoš, completes her musical and life journey. Metikoš’s experience and his strong musical persona shape Josipa Lisac as a unique artist and woman.
Their first joint LP album from 1973, “Dnevnik jedne ljubavi”, remains to this day one of the best conceptual rock creations and is a part of Croatian discography’s anthology.
Together they create around 13 LP albums and CDs , with Karlo Metikoš’s authorship and production. Some of their biggest hits are: “O jednoj mladosti”, “Magla”, “Hir, hir, hir”, “Danas sam luda”, “Dok razmišljam o nama”, “Na, na, na”, “Ja bolujem”…
Josipa Lisac soon proves her multifold talent in the very demanding role of Jana in the first Croatian rock opera by Ivica Krajač, Karlo Metikoš and Miljenko Prohaska: “Gubec-beg”. During the year 1976 she even records a jazz album with world famous jazz musicians (Ernie Wilkins, Clark Terry, Johnny Basso…) titled “Josipa Lisac & B.P. Convention big band international”.
Many theater plays follow in Slovenia and Croatia, as well as many concert tours and recording sessions. She is several times the winner of the “Vocal of the year” award, “Porin” award and many others.
Speaking of herself, she says that she cannot support being average and banal and that her whole life is dedicated to finding new, original, often downright shocking solutions, which makes her always and everywhere attractive, interesting and provocative. Her characteristic in one sentence is:”Josipa Lisac is not like others. “
The unexpected death of Karlo Metikoš on the 10th of December 1991, as well as a turbulent beginning of the war in the nineties, change considerably the context of her work. During the years that follow she holds a number of concerts dedicated to Karlo, the tradition of which continues to this day.
Her first collaboration with maestro Igor Kuljerić and HRT Symphonic orchestra and choir in December 1994 created truly novel orchestrations and recreated classics like “Janino ludilo”, “Magla” and “Hazarder”. They continue to collaborate in 1997 when they created a concert remix of the rock-opera “Gubec-beg”.
Her last studio work, the album “Život” (Life), from 2000, was marked by a modern sound and experimenting with electronics.
