GLORY 95 at the Arena Zagreb on September 21

For the first time in over a decade, GLORY, the world’s largest kickboxing organisation, returns to Croatia. GLORY 95 will take place at the Arena Zagreb in the heart of the nation’s capital on September 21.

Due to injury, Antonio Plazibat will not be able to perform at GLORY 95 and Bahram Rajabzadeh (69-3, 61 KO) will perform in his place.

A blockbuster heavyweight showdown between Azerbaijan kickboxer Bahrama Rajabzadeh (69-3, 61 KO) and the number one ranked Levi Rigters (18-2, 8 KO) will headline this event, which will be one of the biggest kickboxing events in Balkan history.

With a history of devastating knockouts, Antonio Plazibat is one of the most exciting heavyweights on the planet. After suffering an injury to his arm which left him unable to compete for the past year, the 30-year-old looks to make a triumphant comeback in front of his home country, vowing a knockout.

GLORY 95 will see the return of Croatian legend Mladen Brestovac (55-14-1, 37 KO). The former GLORY heavyweight title challenger will say goodbye to the sport of kickboxing in what will officially be his retirement match in his hometown of Zagreb.

Known for his patented left high kick, Brestovac has career wins over Jahfarr Wilnis, Hesdy Gerges, Mighty Mo, and Jhonata Diniz, and twice challenges Rico Verhoeven for the GLORY world heavyweight title. ‘The Scorpian Sting’ will meet fellow veteran Vladimir Tok (41-20, 28 KO) in what will be his first fight in Zagreb since 2016.

Also announced for GLORY 95, KO artist Hamicha (41-2, 30 KO) returns to action against France’s Cedric Do (16-5, 9 KO), heavyweight giants Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (25-4-1, 13 KO) and Uku Jurjendal (20-9, 16 KO) collide, and Croatia’s Andrej Kedves (19-4, 7 KO) meets France’s Guerric Billet (41-7-1, 17 KO).

Fans can expect more of the best fighters from all over the Balkans and around the world to be added to GLORY 95 over the coming weeks.
