Artist description
4 Asa (4 Aces) is a Croatian rock band that began playing in 2002. At the time, its members were Alen Islamović (rhythm guitar), Vlado Kalember (bass guitar), Jurica Pađen (lead guitar), Rajko Dujmić (keyboards) and Slavko Pintarić Pišta (drums).
Their first concert took place in Zagreb, in Dom Sportova’s small hall, while the reaction of the public was great. They began promoting their live album from the concert in Zagreb in 2003 together with Večernji list, and in doing so, they did a tour along the Croatian coast and its islands.
In 2004, the band made a new studio album called “Nakon svih ovih godina”.
In 2005, they entered the Croatian music contest “Dora” with their song “Ja nemam prava” in order to win at the Eurosong contest. That same year, 4 Asa bids farewell to Alen and continues without him.
