Artist description

Hari Mata Hari is a Bosnian and Herzegovinian band, founded in 1985. Its current members are Hari Varešanović (vocals), Izo Kolečić (drums), Karlo Martinović (solo guitar) and Nihad Voloder (rhythm guitar).

Their first album titled “U tvojoj kosi” came out in 1985. Their third LP “Ja te volim najviše na svijetu” turned them into one of the most popular pop groups. Their next LP “Strah me da te volim” (1990) was promoted with two concerts held in Belgrade’s “Sava” centre. On the second concert appeared also the American singer La Toya Jackson, pop star Michael Jackson’s sister.

When war broke out in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the band stopped playing, but they regrouped in 1997. Already next year they released the new album “Ja nemam snage da te volim”.

They are the wines of numerous awards and recognitions from which we would mention the prestigious music award “Davorin” which they won in 2002 for their song “Kao Domine”.

They won third place on the Eurosong competition in 2006 with their song “Lejla”.
