Mumford & Sons gehören zum Kreis der Londoner Neo-Folk-Szene. Wunderbar folkige, melancholische Harmonien klingen hier aus Banjo, Dobro, Gitarre und Kontrabass. Dazu erklingt Mumfords rau-gefühlvolle Stimme begleitet von den Tambourinen an seinen Knöcheln. Eine Band mit Potenzial für Höheres und Größeres. Und wer Mumford & Sons schon einmal live erlebt hat, weiß sowieso, welche Brillanz die Engländer auf der Bühne ausstrahlen und was für ein wohliges Gefühl die Auftritte hinterlassen.
