Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actress.
Previously member of the girl group Choice, Pink began her solo career with her debut album “Can’t Take Me Home” (2000). She then wanted a more personal and more pop-rock oriented second album. The product: “M!ssundaztood” was her most successful album to date with over 12 million copies. In 2003, she released her third album “Try This” which won her her first solo Grammy Award. In 2006, she released “I’m not Dead” which marked her revival in the U.S. but also worldwide. Her fifth album “Funhouse” was released in 2008 which was certified double platinum. Her latest album “The Truth About Love” was released in 2012 and was her first number 1 album in the U.S.
In a unique way P!NK mixes party with ballad, sensuality with sharpness and pop with punk. Their concerts have been leaving for almost a decade an enthusiastic audience.
Pink has become one of the most successful artists of all time, having sold over 40 million albums and 70 million singles across the globe. In 2009, Billboard magazine named Pink the #1 pop musician of the decade, and in 2012 VH1 named Pink #10 on their list of the 100 Greatest Women in Music.
