ANDREA BOCELLI: FIRST TIME IN SLOVENIA!

Andrea Bocelli, the world-renowned Italian tenor, is going to perform in Slovenia for the first time. At the concert in November he will perform his arias from famous operas by Verdi, Puccini and others, and his best film music hits from the fifteenth new album »Cinema«. You will be able to hear songs from movies such as Gladiator, Godfather, Love story, Breakfast at Tiffany's, different opera arias and of course his other most recognizable hits.

The charismatic Italian tenor with a surprisingly wide vocal range has already sold more than 80 million albums worldwide in his career. Bocelli has not provem himself only as a fantastic singer, but also as an excellent songwriter and music producer. It is also worth mentioning that with his latest album »Cinema« he took the first place on the Billboard scale among classic albums.

Organisers are promising an unforgettable event in the company of the unique Andrea Bocelli and his musical interpretations of the most popular film music hits, opera arias and other renown hits. The organisers are also preparing some musical surprises of the evening.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Andrea Bocelli was born in Tuscany, Italy, which is also the origin of many other well-known composers such as Puccini and Mascagani, while he grew up in a small town next to Pisa. While studying law in Pisa he was also performing as a pianist in local bars and clubs, while he eventually realised that his only true instrument was his own voice. His global musical career seen its rise in 1994, when he won the Festival in San Remo with the song »Il Mare Calmo della Sera«. Shortly after this success he got his first big role in Verdi's opera »Macbeth«, and soon after this he performed in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican, where he performed in front of tens of thousands of people and the Pope himself.

After these beginnings his carrer just steeply climbed, the recognized tenor had the honour of fixating him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, meanwhile all-together he has performed in his career before three USA presidents, three Popes and various members of Royal familis worldwide.
