Festival Pušipela - Urbanovo

URBANOVO is a well-known eno-gastronomic event which takes place in the picturesque wine-growing countryside of Međimurje. Urbanovo provides a unique and unforgettable experience, thanks to top quality wines and gastronomic delicacies.

The central event of Urbanovo is the Pušipel Festival, held from 13 to 15 May in Štrigova. The festival is marked by Pušipel – an indigenous Međimurje wine variety and protected brand. At the Festival, the best Međimurje winemakers from the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers Hortus Croatiae exhibit their wines. In one place you can taste wines from more than 30 wineries.

During the three days of the Festival, Urbanovo becomes a meeting place for all eminent producers of wine and wine equipment, agricultural producers, entrepreneurs and traditional craftsmen. Along with wine, food offered by local family farms with their dairy and meat products is also unavoidable.
