Directly from London to Zagreb comes the young musical diva, the internationally acclaimed soprano Tamara Radjenović, who is preparing a special concert evening on the grand stage of Lisinski Hall.
Forbes Europe has recognized her as one of the 30 most influential young people in the arts and culture. Her programs feature beloved opera classics from Carmen and Traviata, as well as popular songs like Volare and Bésame Mucho, and unforgettable film themes such as Por una cabeza and Parla più piano. She studied singing at the Royal College of Music in London and spent four years refining her skills with the great Montserrat Caballé. This unique mentorship led to her participation in the Caballé Gala evenings at the Auditorio de Zaragoza and the New Year’s Concert of the Montserrat Caballé Foundation in Barcelona.
Her illustrious career has taken her across Europe and to the United States, where she performed two recitals at New York’s Carnegie Hall. She debuted in London at St. James’s Piccadilly and has graced many other stages worldwide. Recently, she performed two consecutive sold-out concerts at Kolarac in Belgrade.
This year, in addition to her performance at Lisinski, she is scheduled to appear at Cadogan Hall in London and in Japan. For her first encounter with the Zagreb audience, Tamara has prepared a rich and diverse program. She has invited distinguished Croatian composer and pianist Matej Meštrović as her special guest, who is preparing unique musical treats for their joint performance. They will be accompanied by the exceptional musicians of the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ivan Josip Skender, with additional musical surprises in store.
